Original Henry Ford steel body roadster. Frame has been boxed and pinched to sit inside the body and behind the sectioned 32 grille shell. She has then been channeled to sit the body flush with the frame rails. Front suspension is a ‘48 Ford drop axle with juice brakes and the heavy duty square-back spindles. Rear suspension is a parallel 4-link connected to a Ford 9 inch with shocks and Firestone air bags. Power is delivered from a high-revving Ford 289 mated to a C-4 trans that has a new Lokar shifter with Mooneyes shift knob. Front brakes were rebuilt last year with new slave cylinders, shoes, and springs. New Wilwood master cylinder with proportioning valve, new brake pedal assembly with Lokar pedal pad. All new brake lines and Earls braided stainless flex hoses. New heavy duty steering column with quick release hub holds the Limeworks Lakester steering wheel. Kenwood cd/mp3 with Bluetooth mounted in the glovebox and two Kicker 6x9’s under the dash. Car currently has the steel two piece hinged hood and side panels removed because of the carb/header setup, but they are included with the sale and can be easily put back on. Two sets of authentic California Custom valve covers come with, as well as an original set of 31 Ford headlights. Also included are a pair of 7” Dietz type headlights with Holley retro led bulbs. This car is so much fun to drive and gets tons of attention. Downsizing and need to make room. Car does have a VIN and is registered with an Indiana title.
