Here we have a 1965 Mustang Fastback restoration project. This 289 4 barrel powered Mustang is equpped with disc brakes and factory styled steel wheels. The car was taken apart and put back together with countless new parts. All rust repair is done with new panels throughout from cowl to floors even 1/4 panels with little or no rust left anywhere. Fresh paint this conversion is a real looker with Red Shelby Stripes on bright Silver exterior. The red interior needs minor attention and installation to be a driver. This dream will need more attention from exterior to interior assembly. This desirable classic is a pretty clean start as it has had inside storage for years as it was a pride of a Mustang Builder. Only minor repair attention to body is needed . We have reconditioned the running gear with new water pump oil pump seals gaskets and more the C4 trans is also ready to go includingnew brakes and fluids. New accessories makes it all the more a bargain. A beautiful piece which just needs a bit more installation you'll be amazed once pictures post Expect you could need a bit of attention like adjusting the front end, disc brakes, dual exhaust, tuning and more even though it offers a running period correct 289 4 barrel. It has a Edelbrock carburetor and chrome air cleaner and valve covers. The C4 automatic transmission is stock down to the cooling lines hooked to the radiator. The drive shaft hooks the heavy duty 8 inch rear as it was installed many years ago. You'll find the interior is pretty much all there and is in fair condition although it too will need detail attention or replacement to be brought back to life for the customer who wants to start at a deal and save. All glass is present along with the trim we received when purchased so bid to win. This is a whole car which looks great but will need some minor work to complete the build although we have done quite bit of the job from paint to mechanical its almost there. Previously stated it was pretty much there as far as looks although not completed so it should be finished right. We freshened the motor and guarantee it is sound running great 289 4V which is running through dual exhaust it and does not smoke, knock or such. Although the exterior is together a skilled craftsmen's attention is need for the interior bracketry wiring ect. Please understand it is sold as is and will not be able to be returned. If you have any questions we will be glad to discuss this car in detail but be assured the value will certainly be well worth it in the end as this is a well optioned car.
