1976 Ford Mustang II Ghia Silver Blue - Excellent; Very Low Miles!!

1976 Ford Mustang Ghia

I have owned this 1976 Mustang II Ghia since August 2016 and it has been meticulously taken care of. It is driven regularly and currently has fewer than 53,000 miles on the odometer. The 302 V8 fires right up and runs and drives great, as does the automatic transmission which I had rebuilt in December 2022; at which time all of the exhaust was completely replaced as well. Earlier this year, we replaced the carburetor, and now it runs better than it ever has. To my knowledge, I am the third owner; the second having been a Mustang collector in CA who owned the car for 27 years. New tires in 2022. No signs of rust. We have made a few tasteful upgrades alongthe way(all of which can be easily removed to revert to original),including LED halo headlights; LED halo tail lights with sequential amber turn signal panels; custom two tone blue grille, fender, rear quarter panel, and trunk emblems; short antenna; woodgrain steering wheel (1965 Mustang style);original-style door speakers and grilles; custom embroidered floor mats; lacey spoke wheels with blue color match in the lacey spokes; custom 1966 Mustang-style side scoop emblems; and original Ford AM/FM 8-track radio with working 8-track player (original AM radio and original steering wheel are available if the new owner prefers to revert to original). The dash pad is immaculate. Carpet has been replaced and period-correct dark blue with blue plaid seat covers from Classic Auto Reproductions installed front and rear. Options include Ghia trim package, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Deluxe Bumper Group, Air Conditioner, and Fold Down Rear Seat. The prior owner installed an aftermarket LED digital clock in the passenger dash panel in place of the original factory scrolling analog clock, which fits perfectly and looks cool (and makes an interesting conversation piece with other Mustang II owners!). Paint is Silver Blue Glow with the Silver Blue Half Vinyl Roof. Early model year build in Sept 1975; originally sold by Downtown Ford Sales in Sacramento CA in October 1975. From a full transparency standpoint, earlier this year, this car was hit which caused minor cosmetic damage as follows: small dent in the chrome trim around the driver's front wheel; small nick in the driver's side rear whitewall; a fairly large scratch on the driver's door below the body side molding; and scuffing on the bright rocker panel trim piece (which is a piece of soft PVC with bright chromate treatment and 3M tape for adhesion, which can easily be replaced). The other driver fled the scene and the police were unable to locate.
