This Ford F-150 regular cab 4x4 pickup was ordered in new from Ford through the local Ford dealer in Enterprise, Oregon. The first year it was sold to Western Fleetlease in Lostine, Oregon and was put out on a short term lease with the US Forest Service. Later that year when the lease was done and the unit was returned to Enterprise it was purchased by the Parts Manager of the local Ford garage and had remained in that family until we purchased it last year. So it has always been in our County and it appears to have most all of the original Lt. Jade Green paint intact. I know all of this history as I also worked for the owner of both the Ford dealership and their own fleet company identified above. The tailgate is a different one, painted to match the original color as the original one was damaged beyond reasonable repair, as it was down when it backed into a tree but still on the truck when we purchased it. The pickup starts easy, a bit cold blooded however, it runs good once it warms up, it shifts easy and smooth and drives out good and stops straight. We suspect the engine still needs work as we explained in the condition area with the smoke on a cold engine start and probably needing a valve job. The pickup has many little dings and dents and the floor pan on the passenger side has been replaced by the previous owner. The replacement didn't cut out the old rusted one and the picture shows how that appears now. We don't see any other areas of rust concern in the cab corners or the bottom of the doors and nowhere on the pickup box. The interior of the box has some dents and a worn bed floor too missing all of the factory paint from hauling wood, passing of time and outside exposure. The previous owner had replaced the black rubber floor mat after having the new floor pan installed. It could use some TLC for sure but it is a solid old short box 4x4 and all of the components of the 4 wheel drive work as they should including the transfer case and the front Warn hubs. We also installed new driveline U-joints on the rear driveline and greased the unit and changed the oil and filter. The windows roll up and down, all of the glass is good. Just did install a new rear tow hitch as those are just handy to have on one of these old Ford pickups. The pickup can be driven away as it is safe to drive but sure can't guarantee that something else might break or need replaced due to the age of this truck.
