1937 Ford Tudor Sedan, flathead V8, survivor quality original car
1937 Ford Other
1937 Ford Tudor Sedan. This is an all steel, mostly original example that was owned by the same family (father and son) for 74 years, 1939 until 2013. I have extensive history documentation for this car including years of service records, registrations, receipts, original owner's manuals, and photos.
This is a very cool survivor quality car that has been well maintained and cared for in its 87 year life. The car looks very nice with just the right amount of patina. It runs and drives well. I used it as a daily driver this past summer (nice dry days only) with no problems.
To the best of my knowlege the interior, most of the paint, and the chrome are all original. There are chips and blemishes throughout the paint and a small dent on the driver's side door (approximately the size of a golf ball).
The body and undercarriage is solid with all original steel floor boards and body mounts.
The flathead V8 runs nice. Its starts easily with only a couple turns even after it has been sitting for a while. The transmission shifts easy through all the gears and the breaks stop well. A previous owner added dual exhaust and it sounds great. All of the gauges, lights, and turn signals work except the temp gauge is inoperable.
This car is being sold as is. Odometer is working and currently reads 14,649 but true mileage is unknown. No warranties. You are welcome to view the car in person in North Conway, New Hampshire prior to bidding. Payment must be completed via wire transfer or cashier's check from a local bank only. No exceptions.
