1990 Ford Mustang LX Saleen. Car #128. White with Gray Interior. 5.0L 5 Speed Manual, 66K Original miles. Clean CT Title and clean registration and bill of sale from myself to the next owner. No longer need title for vehicles over 20 Years old in CT so i was able to register it without giving up the original title. Can be registered in any state with Reg and Bill of Sale i will provide.
Purchased car in 2012 from original owner. 58k Miles on it. Had a cowl hood which i hate so i replaced it with a white one from a LX. The car was in a low speed front end hit where i was told the car slid into a trailer hitch coming to a stop at a light. The radiator support has a dent in it as pictured. The front bumper cover was replaced on it but the lower front valance was not damaged and is original. No airbag light on or any other damage i was aware of.
The car had sat outside as you can see by the cars paint condition. I replaced the Fuel Tank, Fuel pump, level sender, front brake rotors, wheel bearings, brake pads, and did all 4 shocks. The car had a Bassani Catted Mid pipe on it done by the previous owner. I had MAC mufflers welded in as the factory mufflers developed pin holes and fumes would come in the car. The passenger door lock area is damaged as someone tried to steal the car from me one night but was unsuccessful.
I drove the car daily for about 1.5 years and took it to Mustang Week and to Carlisle. The A/C Blew ice cold, and the car returned nearly 28mpg on the trip with the cruise control on. It is a solid driving fox body.
From then it sat indoors for the remaining years. I never drove it, only moved it from garage to garage via Auto transport. About 1.8 years ago i planned to drive it again and i replaced the fuel pump, the level sender, and the fuel filler neck grommet, and had the fuel injectors serviced and flow tested by a local speed shop. I also replaced the brake booster and master cylinder as the diaphragm gave out on my mustang week trip but i had never fixed it as the pedal was just low but the car still stopped and i did not drive it like Mario Andretti. Unfortunately brake fluid leaked out and bubbled the paint on the tower as shown in pictures.
I never ran the car after that, it was pushed back in the driveway. Had a baby and i just have no time to use/enjoy and have other projects and honey do list that never ends.
I have a spare rear luggage shield that will be included in the sale, the original shift knob, and a factory ford radio. The car is a 3:55 Gear car from Saleen.
The car will need the following: Need to bolt the Strut Brace on ( i just had it powder coated black) Brakes need to be bled ( i am a one man band and i believe in the old 2 man system to bleed the brakes, so it was not done), the rubber o ring on the oil drain plug is bad and leaks oil. Will need 4 tires as they are from 2012 when i bought the car i replaced them, Needs a Battery (does not have one), will need all fluid levels checked and just give a once over before trying to run this thing down I-95.
I will assist with transport at your expense. The Car Rolls, Stops and Steers. No, i will not let you come MacGyver it in my driveway and drive it home, $500 non refundable deposit upon purchase. Once the car is paid i will overnight the title and paperwork. I believe i have 2 sets of keys for it. Located in West Palm Beach FL . I accept bank check, cash, wire transfer. If you have to pay through Paypal i will want the 3.125% fee they charge.
Refrain from stupid offers please. I do not need the money nor do i have to sell the car, i just think it would be better to see someone use it vs just sitting for the next 3-5 years before i can get back to enjoying it.
