1978 Ford F150 regular cab long bed 2wd.
400m v8, C6 auto. Power Steering. New Weiand intake, valve covers and air cleaner.Demon carb. Oil pressure at idle is around 20. Odometer reads about 34,000 but I believe it has went over once as it’s a 10k odometer. Previous owner had motor rebuilt. Runs and drives and I actually daily it. Would drive it anywhere.
Front twin I beam- fully rebuilt with poly bushings, new king pins, new shocks /springs, new rotors and brake pads.9” rear. Wheels are from 1996 F150 and tires are in great shape. I have the original wheels
Rat rod style interior, floor has small patch able rust near door which in photos is covered with foil tape. Pans are in good shape and you can inspect it all. Instrument cluster restored with green led lights. No radio. Was a heat and air truck but needs heater core and air needs put back together. Have all parts. I use a propane golf cart heater for heat. Autometer gauges and AEM A/F with Vacuum gauge.
Body is in fair condition but has almost no rust. Rust I’ve found is cab corners have pin holes and tail gate has rust but whole cab and bed are good. Bed has been worked in but is solid. Frame is very solid. Comes with disc brake 9” from a Lincoln in the bed.
Only known issue is trans shifts slow till warm. Maybe 5min of driving and it’s perfect. Over $6k invested and lots of labor. Sold with bill of sale because Georgia doesn’t issue titles after 25 years old. Moving cross country and don’t want to haul.
