Really fun to drive -- even on the highway. 5.0L V8
1989 Ford LTD Crown Victoria
This is a very fun daily driver. The interior is a time capsule -- I can't see anything that needs work. Seats, dash, headliner, windows, etc are all in amazing conditions. No rips, tears or other damage. I was using the Ford as a second car when my kids came home for the summer so I replaced the factory cassette player with a touch-screen unit with that has CarPlay and a back-up camera. It required no modifications to the dash and the original AM/FM cassette player is included in the sale.Almost everything works on the car, including AC/heat, lights, blinkers, cruise control, wipers, trunk release, even the dash clock. The one thing that has recently stopped working is the driver's side, rear power window. The other three windows are working fine and the manual vent windows in the front seats both work.The exterior has the kind of wear you'd expect on a 30+ year old all original car. The trim looks really good. The paint and landau top are showing age but from 10-15 feet away it looks amazing and I get tons of compliments and thumbs up from folks when I drive it -- which says I may be too nitpicky when it comes to cars.Mechanically it has had regular oil changes and starts up right away-- every time. Even if it has been sitting for a week or two. It passed the NY Inspection and has a valid sticker. If I was keeping the car I'd redo the brakes and suspension (shocks, etc) -- it needs both done but I continue to drive it 'as is' (Including on highways) because it still floats down the road like I'm driving while sitting on my living room couch.Never been in an accident while I owned the car and the Carfax (and the person I bought it from) say it hasn't been in an accident since 1989. I think I'm the third owner (with dealer between me and the original owner).Take a look at the photos and feel free to ask questions. I own the car free and clear and have pink slip in hand.
