1967 FORD F350 PICKUP TRUCK

This is a really solid old pickup truck. The odometer says 74,038 miles, and I believe that to be original, but I can't confirm that. The truck was sold new in Tacoma Washington, and the original owner was a drug store in Portland Oregon. The original owners manual and three original owners cards are included. Clear title in my name. I have the parts to convert this to a 4x4 highboy. I will include them for $1000 extra. They will be on a pallet secured, wrapped, and strapped to the flatbed for transport. This includes the complete front axle, springs, all steering components, transfer case, shifter, crossmember and three drivelines. The frames measure the same. All the other details on the truck are below.Feel free to ask questions. Please read payment requirements. I accept wire transfer only. Your bank can help you with that if you need, and it's pretty easy. I can help arrange shipping if needed. The description is very detailed. That may seem tedious to some but I just want to be thorough for people buying sight-unseen. Thank you.

MECHANICAL

This truck has a 1972 H-code 390 big block. When I got this pickup, it had a non-original 352 in it that smoked. I put the 390 in it out of an f100 I have. I have checked the stroke on the engine just to confirm it is a 390 (I've owned alot of these motors). The motor runs great and does not smoke, and does not have any blowby. It has great oil pressure, even when warmed up. The engine runs smooth and does not miss or anything abnormal. I have not changed the plugs or wires so that is something you may choose to do. The engine is stock, with the exception of headers and dual exhaust. It sounds nice but is not overly loud. The engine runs cool with no overheating. It has no oil in the water or water in the oil. The transmission is the standard 4-speed with granny low. The clutch works perfectly with no abnormalities. It has a new throwout bearing. The clutch was in nice shape so I didn't replace it. The brakes work good but this does not have power brakes. I have ordered a new master cylinder to put on it because it's a little sticky. If you want, I can convert it to power brakes for you if you buy the parts. I will charge very affordable labor. It is a pretty easy conversion. I've been a mechanic for 35 years and owned many 1979 and older ford trucks. I have not checked the brake shoes so that may be something you want to do just to know how the wear is. This has a new fuel pump and new oil change. I checked the differential and transmission fluids. The truck has some of the old-truck seepage, but no leaks of any concern. I would advise a carburetor rebuild or new carburetor. When I first got it running the float stuck a couple times. It hasn't stuck now for awhile, but it's not expensive to rebuild the carb or get a new one with an electric choke. This has the manual choke. You can also convert these trucks to efi (electronic fuel injection) pretty easily, and I can advise you on that if needed. I can do that work also for that if you choose. They have 4-barrel and 2-barrel efi units. Four-barrel manifolds are readily available for this engine. This truck has manual steering. This is ok where I live, but if you plan on much city type driving, it is easy to convert these to power steering. They sell complete kits to do that. If you don't convert it and do much parallel parking, you'll have strong arms. The tires are in nice shape on the truck. The wheels were just repainted in the wimbleton white to match the grill and front bumper. The wheels are the safe 1-piece style. Many aftermarket dually rims are also available for this truck in the 8x6.5 bomt pattern. The truck drives nice down the road. There are chrome wheel simulators in some of the pics. Those aren't included, but they are readily available online. I just borrowed some off another truck to see how it would look. This truck has room for alot larger tires on it, and you can also get levelling kits and lift kit to make them look like a 4x4. 4x4 conversions are pretty easy and aftermarket companies make mounts to use coil spring straight axles out of newer ford trucks. The heater, heater selector, defrost, wipers, and all lights work. The turn signals blink like they should, but they are slow. It most likely needs a new flasher. The brake lights and reverse lights even work. The alternator works and charges properly. The parking brake works. The radio does not work and I didn't check to see why. This is the old-school am only I believe! This pickup does have a large auxillary fuel tank underneath. It is not connected. I never tried to use it. The truck is running off the original tank behind the seat. Some people prefer to delete the fuel tanks behind the seat for safety reasons, and sometimes they can smell. It would be easy to do that on this truck if you want, because the other tank is already mounted. Overall, the truck is very mechanically sound and needs very little. It doesn't need any major mechanical work.

BODY

The body is in real clean shape for a 1967 bumpside. Alot of these trucks were rode hard, but I can tell this one wasn't. The cab mounts, floors and floor supports have no rust. These are common bad spots on these trucks, but they're nice on this truck. The passenger rear cab corner has rust on the inner area. It's not on the actual outer round part of the corner, so it's not very visible. The drivers side also has a little rust there but very minor. I could potentially fix those spots for you if you'd like. The repair panels are inexpensive. They are easy to access on this truck since this has a flatbed. This blue is the original arcadian blue, and matches the color code on the door tag. The roof, pillars, sills, jams, rockers, fenders, firewall, cowl, etc. etc. have no rust-through. The passenger door has some pitting on the bottom of the door. You can see it in the pics. It has no rust-through and is not soft. The doors and hood operate as they should. The grill and headlight bezels on this truck are perfect. That is extremely hard to find. These are the steel versions so they are tougher, and you can get them chromed. Front chrome bumpers are easy to get new and affordable if you decide to go that route. Some people prefer the painted ones but the chrome pops more. The glass is all usable. The windshield may have a crack or chip, I'll have to check, but I know it's usable. They are inexpensive also. The Flatbed is in nice shape and has new 2x6 hem-fir decking. This has wood stringers between the truck frame and the flatbed. This was common in the day. The stringers are in good shape but you can see the ends of them on the rear of the flatbed. I can add metal there to hide them and paint it to match. That stuff may not both some buyers, but I'll do that for free because it bothers me lol. This truck has no headache rack. Some people prefer them for safety and looks. Some flatbed manufacturers may sell them, but they are easy to fabricate. Overall the body is really clean and solid for an old bumpside.

INTERIOR

The interior is mostly stock and in good shape. That is the original seat upholstery! The truck originally had a black rubber floormat. I ordered a new one, and they sent me a blue carpet, so I just put that in. I didn't want to have to mail the other one back and wait for the new one. The dash area is all stock. The dash pad is usable but has the normal cracking. I believe these are reproduced and that is something else I could potentially switch out for you if you choose. The headliner is usable but those are inexpensive to replace. The windows and wing windows operate as they should. The windows and floor vents are the air-conditioning in this model lol. They do make aftermarket a/c systems for these trucks. That is another thing I could potentially install for you. I do believe they are a little spendy but I haven't checked on them in awhile. The only other thing I would do to the interior is add sound padding. It's not needed, but it makes these trucks quieter and it insulates it better also to regulate your cab temperature easier. It's pretty cheap to buy and easy to install. Some people love the sound of the old V8's and don't want any sound deadener, which is cool too. Overall the interior needs nothing to be usable now. There are companies that make aftermarket seats for these trucks that are more comfortable and have power adjustments. There are lots of parts available now to make daily driving more realistic, especially in the city or suburbs.
