Ford's Mercury Division debuted in 1939 and it was positioned between Ford and Lincoln. This 1939 Mercury Four-Door Town Sedan is one of the 39,784 produced. Smooth and extremely quiet ride.

Exterior:• suicide doors• aviator inspired windshield• split rear window• flat black color• all panels are originals on the car• original bumpers with brackets are also available with purchase of the car• all trim throughout the car is still original• art direction - rivets are glued on - easy to remove - the surface of the body is still intact• no holes were made on the car, just wanted an edgy look by adding the rivets• car has small surface dent on the rear passenger side, no damage underneath, can be popped out easily• all surfaces of the car are in really excellent shape, ready for primer and paint or leave as is• natural weather aging surface• no rust throughout the entire car• windshield and back window glass in excellent shape• 2 of the 6 glass panels are cracked and should be eventually replaced - but car is still drivable
Interior:• insulated the entire interior of the car, from firewall to the back seat to reduce heat and noise (see pics)• all dash board instruments are original• original steering wheel• clock and odometer does not work but everything else does• Pioneer radio with 4 speakers also installed• bench seats are original but recommend to reupholstered both front and back• new headliner• new carpet• trunk floor completely rebuilt with metal sheets and new carpet• new trunk rubber molding• headlights, tail lights and turn signals work perfectly• all door handles are original and work perfectly• car has a kill switch installed• no A/C nor heater

Brakes:• original drum brakes front and back - recommend change to disc brakes for improved safety
