Slant Windshield Touring Car
1931 Ford Model A
An older couple from the local car community reached out and asked me to list their 1931 Ford Model A Fordor Slant Windshield finished in a deep mahogany and black exterior with striking yellow wire wheels over a clean, blemish free tan interior. It features a L-head 201 cu in inline four mated to a 3sp manual transmission. The owner purchased the car in 1999 after a restoration was done and shortly then after, had the engine rebuilt by Schwalm’s in PA. Some upgrades to the car were made to improve the drivability and they included adding a Weber downdraft, switching the 2 blade fan to a 5 blade fan, installing a clutch from a 39 (it is starting to show some wear), converting the car to 12 volts and adding temp and oil gauges. The owner and his wife bought this car to be driven and enjoyed and as such, it has been taken on multiple tours, cruises and drives throughout the Northeast and Canada. This is a clean, rust free, all metal car that fires right up and runs and drives great. The owner also has extra parts available. It is located in Montvale, NJ.
