Ford 1933 Pickup Flathead
1933 Ford Other Pickups
1933 Ford pickup body, fenders, bed, etc are in excellent condition. The fenders have never had a bead break or repair that I can find. Running boards are also excellent condition. Bed and tailgate are real straight and show no repairs. I have had a lot of these 32-34 trucks and this is the straightest one I have ever had. The cab is also nice with no rust repair ever in the doors and all window regulators & door latches work real good. As you can see in the pictures the paint has some chips and looks like it was painted years ago. It would take very little to none body repair if you wanted to paint it, but I would leave it as is. It has a good nostalgia look to it.
The drivetrain was rebuilt by the previous owner and has all been rebuilt. The engine is a 36 21 stud LB bearing block with inserts bearings. It runs and sounds real good, the transmission was gone thru and has later synchronized gears and shifts good. The rear differential was also rebuilt and I believe it has 3:54 gears. Brakes are still original style mechanical. Truck runs good but will need new tire to drive real well. I left them as I thought new owner may want to go with big and littles to give it a more hot rod look. The front already sits lower than stock.
As I said before this truck has excellent sheet metal and doesn't look like it has ever had used like most. It still has the original Ford script glass windshield.
