Description:

1967 Ford Mustang

1967 Ford Mustang Fastback Coyote Swap that I've been working on for about 3 years. I have just reached a point where I no longer want to work on it. Purchased in Tennessee, no major rust and straight/solid body. Some surface rust in spots around old bolts. Original engine was a 289 that was busted when I bought it. Car was built to drive and handle. It runs and drives, but there are some minor kinks the new owner will have to work out which I'll add below. There is a lot to list but I can provide more detail on anything listed or unlisted.
Front Suspension is a Heidts Pro-G IFS with coilover shocks and a 2" drop and power steering rack. More info here: https://www.heidts.com/part/64-70-mustang-pro-g-front-track-suspension-wide-track/
Rear Suspension is a Mustangs to Fear Watts Link full floater 9" with 3.73 gears and double adjustable coilovers. More info here: https://mustangstofear.com/store-home/1967-1968-Watts-Link-Full-&-Semi-Floaters-Rear-Suspension-p255432771
Front Brakes came with the Heidts setup and are Wilwood 11" rotors and 4 piston brakes.
Rear Brakes came with the MTF setup and are Wilwood 4 piston brakes.
Ididit Steering Column with Grant Steering Wheel.
Vintage Air Front Pulley system
Old Air Hurricane AC system
Classic Instruments Autocross gauges in Grey.
Corbeau Front Seats in Maroon.
Rear fold down seats are original with new carpeting and leather coverings.
Carpet is new, however with the modified transmission hump it is just a placeholder until an upholstery shop installs a one piece carpet.
Dash pad is new as well as a one piece headliner from Mustang to Fear
Engine and transmission is a Gen 2 Coyote and MT82 transmission from a 2019 Mustang Gt with ~9k miles. Wiring is through a ford racing control pack. MGW shifter is installed on the transmission to eliminate the hanging shifter on the oem unit.
Doug's longtube headers, H pipe and Borla Crate engine S-Type Mufflers.
Lund Racing tune.
20 Gallon Aluminum gas tank from Mustangs to Fear: https://mustangstofear.com/store-home/1965-1970-Standard-Fill-Fuel-Tank-p255432532
Car also has minitubs install from Mustangs to Fear: https://mustangstofear.com/store-home/1965-1968-Fastback-Coupe-Convertible-Mini-Tub-p255432673
Interior panels are a mix of new and refurbished original pieces.
3 point seatbelts front and lap belts in rear
Subframe connectors from CJ Pony Parts installed.
Layer of kilmat sound deadener applied throughout cockpit with a few under headliner
Minor fixes needed:
Gauges are in the car, but Speedo, Tach and Fuel need to be ran and calibrated.
Engine has a vacuum leak I haven't managed to track down yet which causes a high idle and some oil to be sucked into the manifold - a catch can has been installed and mitigate this until found.
There are various trim pieces, weather stripping that still need to be installed on the exterior and interior of car.
The borla mufflers are extremely loud. If you aren't hard of hearing now, you will be.
Lund racing tuned the car but could use some more datalogging. I will provide the account and files so you can finish this.
A/C system needs to be charged.
Paint looks good in pictures, but has various chips/stratches from being moved to different shops and being worked on for 3 years. Previous owner had a blowout so the lower fender on the passenger side has a few dents on it. The shades of some panels also don't match entirely with others. It was like this when I purchased it.
