This 1972 F-250 Crew Cab short-bed is the perfect start for the truck of your dreams. This truck can be enjoyed right now as-is, jump in, turn the key, and drive anywhere on this continent... (its literally that reliable and that good of a driver to not think twice about it..). This Crew Cab pickup was sold new at Young Ford in Charlotte, NC and has spent it's life in the south. This truck left the factory in Bahama Blue Paint, however, the paint has now faded and does have some patina. This was a 360 FE v8 with a 3-speed manual truck, but has now been converted to a built 351w v8 roller motor and a Automatic transmission. The motor runs strong and does have a 4v intake/Carb, headers, and a custom cam from Comp Cams installed. The factory rear Dana 60 is still present and was freshened along with the addition of a Moser Engineering differential cover. This truck does have power steering and power brakes. The truck hits the interstate with ease and cruises at 85 mph like a breeze. The original wheels have been painted at some point and the original hub caps are presentable. New tires were installed last year and are in new condition. A 1967/68 steel grille assembly was installed as well as 1967 f250 side emblems on the hood. The interior is still original with the exception of the front seat being recovered/covered. The hard to find crew cab parts are all present and in good shape (door panels, seat, and headliner). The rear door opening at the rocker to floor pan (that are rusted on most crew cabs) are rust free on this truck. This truck does have some small rust spots starting to show through in the exterior sheet metal of the front doors, driver side lower fender, and in the lower quarter panel behind the rear wheels. We had planned to make this truck a 4x4 to enjoy with the family but just have too many projects going and need the room.
