1951 Ford Victoria Two Door Hardtop - 350 /350 Street Rod / Hot Rod / Cruiser
1951 Ford Victoria
1951 Ford Victoria –The first hardtop, beat Chevy by a year. Only 110,00 of these were built andfew remain. This particular car, a rust free, under 100,000 mile Arizona car was started as a project thirty years ago. The owner passed away, the car sat for years until I bought it, installed a 290 hp Chevy 350, turbo 350 trans and9” rear. Dakota digital dash panel, mustang II front suspension.Current California registration; fly in, drive it home !!
The car runs like new, cruises at 75 and wins trophies (best shoebox, best 50’s Ford, and a few more). Nice interior, no radio or AC (the parts are in the trunk)The paint is old and has a few blemishes (see photos) It’s been parked for a few months; drove it 300 miles last weekend to a car show (and picked up an award) Almost perfect; I've put 10,000 miles on it - has an iffy 70 year old ignition switch (new one ordered), the clock doesn't work and the passenger window is slow. Nothing else comes to mind. You get vehicle purchase protection which says the cars is what i said it is and guarantees title and delivery.
Reason for selling –old age, too many cars and now limited storage space and I just don’t drive any of them enough.
