Description:

1978 Ford F-350

This was my project truck that now needs to go because we are moving and it can’t go with. The truck comes with a whole lot of new and extra parts. I will add an itemized list of each part as well as some additional pictures.
Completed work:-New nickel brake lines to the rear and rubber brake hose from frame to axle.-Completely rebuilt fuel system with 3/8” stainless fuel line from new tank to fuel pressure regulator. Braided stainless from QuikFuel FPR to carb. Earl's fuel pressure gauge under hood at FPR.-New Carter electronic fuel pump-New K&N inline fuel filter-New 19 gallon rear tank (My plan was to retrofit a newer saddle tank or go with a complete custom tank, as the supercab saddle tanks are hard to find. Truck originally had dual tanks, and I never intended to run primarily off the rear tank, hence the smaller tank)-Changed rear differential oil. Cover gasket replaced and cover painted at that time.-New rear spring hangers and shackles-New wiring from front to rear for lights and fuel system (truck had no wiring from cab back when I got it)-The truck has headers on it of an unknown age/manufacturer. Headers seem fine; exhaust runs from headers to dual mufflers just behind the cab and ends there so it will definitely need some further attention-Rear half of frame has been sanded and painted. This was a temporary-type rattle can job, but it has held up fairly well for the past couple years of sitting in the barn. Frame has no rust damage, and appears to have never been repaired/straightened.
New parts included but not installed:-All 4 shocks (KYB Load Carrier shocks)-New rear drums, shoes, and brake hardware-New center driveshaft carrier bearing-New rear axle seals-Carb rebuild kit-Electronic fan controller-Fuel filler neck and filler end (this is for a 78-79 style box with a fuel door)-Fuel sender for 38 gallon rear tank-Rear upper shock mounts
Used parts included:-Rear slider window from a newer truck-3G alternator and wiring (IIRC the alternator was pulled off a 90s Ford Taurus)-Front brush guard from a 73-77 round headlight truck-Factory rear sway bar (repainted, all new end links and bushings installed)-Electronic cooling fan (I don't remember what vehicle it originally came off of)-Box from a 73-77 truck, which is currently set up as a utility trailer with the frame and axle of the truck it came off. I believe the axle is a Dana 60.
I am fairly certain I've missed a few things, but I will be including everything I have for the truck as I just need it all gone.
The truck was purchased as a project and to ultimately be a truck to haul my family while towing my camper, so I began building it geared toward that end. However, I've had it for several years now and other things keep pushing it further down the priority list. Now, I am moving 500 miles away and would just rather get rid of it than deal with moving it.
Any questions, feel free to shoot me a message and I'll get back to you as quickly as I can.
