This truck came from the Thurston Fire dept in Georgia. It was a water truck. The pump has been removed. It has 5 tanks totaling 1500 gallons. All tanks appear to be plumbed together under the truck and run into a 6-inch PVC mounted across the rear, my guess is that it was used to water roads or crops. The Y block original engine runs, I had to use an external fuel source. It has a 4 speed with a 2 speed rear end. The clutch still works, good, cause there are no brakes. Georgia had no titles until 1963, so you get a bill of sale and registration. It will draw lots of attention and makes a great advertising piece. The truck is quite heavy, I will deliver for free within 30 miles of Bolingbroke. I also have equipment with which I can load it on your trailer (if the trailer is heavy enough). All 6 wheels and tires hold air and have been up for the past year. The truck is listed locally. If you come to remove truck, cash is good.
