1988 Ford Mustang GT

For sale 1988 Ford Mustang GT. Heavily modified street legal road-racer. The car is currently not running and has been parked outdoors for 2 years. Selling due to health issue. Car was built by original owner who is a Ford SVT Engineer in Detroit MI. He raced it successfully at sports car tracks in the region. Never crashed and not driven in winter. Body is straight and there is no damage. Paint is faded, chipped in places and scratched in 5-6 spots on the right rear quarter and hatch rear surface. Metal trim has light surface rust. Undercarriage has surface rust only. New seats and carpet. Windows are tinted.

Professionally built 347 stroker engine with less than 100 miles. Car was parked due to EFI tuning problems (stock ECM with SVT chip).and health problem. Needs new fuel pump to start and ECM tuning to run properly. Should be upgraded to aftermarket EFI system and fuel supply system to reach full potential. TFS N2O system is installed but was not used.
