1913 Ford Model T Pickup Black RWD Manual
1913 Ford Model T
Vehicle DetailsThis unique Model T lived its life in Southern California, originally a touring body & evidently the rear section was replaced with a era truck bed early on, once used from a older gentleman during the WW2 years to drive from San Clemente to Baja Mexico to go fishing, he fabricated a tow hitch to the rear and sported a small trailer which was separated and lost at some point. Vehicle is unrestored, runs, drives, and stops. Also has a early version of Rockey Mountain Brakes. All 4 wheels have “new” tires and tubes but were technically replaced many years ago and was up on jackstands but as they have been holding air and not leaking they seem good to drive on. As seen this isn’t any show car by any means but at best a preservation for what it is, runs off battery and magneto, according to the stamping on the engine block this would technically approximately be a December 1912 engine with is what considered a 1913 or “late” 1912 body. For those who are interested in buying this I came to the realization I don’t have time for this one as I have my other Model T and A projects to complete before getting to this one- consider this a running project that may take some work to get fully squared away but as it sits it has great character and history. I have original paperwork for the vehicle dating from the 1920’s to early 1960’s stating it’s status as a Horseless Carriage and a set of license plates as well matching the paperwork.
