Vehicle DetailsFord Mustang PROJECT CAR - VIN# 6R07C108539 with a good running 289 motor and a strong C4 automatic transmission. New Summit Racing high rise intake manifold and Summit Racing 650 DP Carb. New brakes on all four corners. This car was purchased from a gentleman that acquired it in a barn find purchase and is offered with a clean Texas Title. The intake manifold was replaced due to a bolt being broken off in the thermostat housing so I upgraded to a 4 barrel carb in place of the stock 2 barrel. The original carb and intake is available if desired. The fuel, brake and cooling systems have been flushed. New plugs and wires along with a Pertronix ignition have also been installed within the last 6 months. I do not have documentation of work that may have previously been done to this car but I can provide pictures showing that this car has had the motor rebuilt at some point not too many miles ago. What I mean by that is I can provide photos of the motor during the intake replacement which shows a very clean and assumedly newly rebuilt motor. The interior is in fair condition. The dash cover is cracked and it has e few seams in the upholstery coming apart and the carpet is faded but all interior is in tact. Floor pans are solid and there is little surface rust showing on the undercarriage and a rust pocket on the passenger door skin about the size of a half dollar. The fuel gauge does not work and the passenger window works but does not go all the way down. The paint is not the original color of Emberglow, it is now Blue. I am not sure when or who did the paint and body work. There is some cracking in the paint in a few areas and the chrome on the bumpers is aged. Needs new shocks and possibly leaf springs as well. This car is a solid start to a PROJECT and is being sold as such. I will gladly answer any questions that I can and I will photograph anything specific within reason to answer any questions. I am not a dealer, I purchased this car with the intentions of restoring it with my boys but life events have dictated that this will have to wait for another time. I am in the Dallas Fort Worth area and I am also willing to show the car to anyone wishing to view or drive the car in person.
