1935 Ford Other Deluxe
1935 Ford Model 48 Phaeton Convertible. Finished in Original Vineyard Green with Saddle Brown interior. The paint is excellent show quality. All of the chrome and stainless trim is also in excellent condition. The seats, door panels, and top were professionally done using Lebaron Bonney interiors. Its powered by a rebuilt 59A-B (100 HP), and a Patrick's Hi-Speed rear end, which makes it very enjoyable to drive at todays speeds. The shocks were upgraded to cylindrical hydraulics giving it a more comfortable and stable ride. It has an all new wire harness which has been converted to twelve volt, with an alternator and electronic ignition. It starts easy. Turn signals and modern gauges were added, along with an electric fan which can be turned on if needed. Other accessories include the rare original heart shaped wiper, banjo steering wheel, rear luggage rack, left and right side view mirrors, front sand rear bumper guards, front grill guard, Ford fog lights which now serve as front turn signals. Everything works and all of the lights are bright. This car also comes with the very rare "Wind Wings" option. This car was previously owned by Joe Bortz Automotive Dream Car Collection. The complete restoration took over 2 1/2 years, and the quality speaks for itself. The only way to improve this car would be to lightly detail underneath, as you can see in the photos. It runs and drives better than new. This is hard to believe but, It has no oil leaks at all. Amazing for any 1930s flathead.
