This '47 Ford 5W Coupe will make you the envy of the crowd at any cruise night! All Henry Steel Coupe meticulously massaged sheet metal all the way around, with so many custom touches that you would look deep and hard to notice. Metal work done by Dennis Glass in Amarillo Texas started with a very subtle chopped top that still gives credence to the Ford stylist back then. Nuances on the fenders and a perfectly blended rear roll-pan along with the tucked in rocker panels under the doors that curve and blend into the front and rear fenders replace the stock rockers....all done in metal. Trim on the fenders was removed and Dennis formed raised accents that curve along the fenders, definitely one-off metal work. The front grille now flows into the fenders for that '50s custom look. Frenched headlights and a set of daytime running lights are mounted behind the grille work. Rear bumperettes are hand formed from raw steel and curved along the rear rolled pan perfectly. Frenched taillights are '58 Ford taillights, turned horizontally. Wheel opening were reshaped for a more graceful, flowing look. Bitchin' Products firewall and inner fender wells. Shot in a custom mix bright Yellow some years ago that resulted in a beautiful striking finish and still looks perfect today. It is a trunk car rather than rumble seat and is finished off with matching accents and colors that follow the interior. Pinstriping was done by Todd Hanson in Ohio.

Boxed frame with a Heidts IFS incorporating power disc brakes. Thunderbird rack and pinion makes steering the Coupe an ease. A Corvette Master Cylinder is mounted under the floorboard. Ron Francis wiring kit replaces all the old cloth braided factory wiring. New reproduction steel gas tank, hidden receiver and tow wiring behind the license plate. New hidden Red Top Optima Battery insures that it starts every time you're ready to cruise. 8 inch Ford Torino Menard rear differential with air shocks with a rear stabilizer bar. Custom Boyd Coddington wheels at all four corners, new radials make for a smooth ride.

Set yourself in the seat and get ready for an enjoyable ride. Interior is by Award winning upholsterer Chuck Rolland (CARS Interiors) Tulsa, Oklahoma. Stitched in tweed as this Coupe was an original build from the "Tweed Years" but is still awesome and is very comfortable. Custom one-off dash....not another one like it.....anywhere. Auto Meter gauges keep you aware of what's going on under the hood. Tilt power steering. Remote door openers and trunk latch. Kenwood/Pioneer Audio system. Vintage Air and heating tucked away under the dash. Beige tight-weave carpet. Power door windows, tinted glass all around, two-piece tinted windshield.

Moving this Coupe down the road is a 355 horsepower 350 cu. in. ZZ4 Chevrolet small block Chevrolet crate engine, aluminum intake fed by a Demon carburetor getting the fuel from an electric fuel pump. HEI electronic distributor, an electric pusher fan along assures you of a cool ride. Aftermarket polished aluminum radiator. Polished A/C compressor, polished one-wire Alternator. Ball milled center-bolt polished aluminum valve covers and matching polished aluminum air cleaner. Smooth shifting Turbo 350 transmission.

This Hot Rod has never failed the NSRA 23-Point Inspection, won the Best Safety Award at an NSRA 600-plus car show. You would be proud to be seen gliding down the road in this '47 Coupe!
