You are bidding on a 1985 Mustang GT Convertible 5 speed with 89,000 original miles. I bought this from a friend who has owned it since 1994- he was the 2nd owner. Its been garage kept since 1994. Extremely solid car- it does have some surface rust under the rear deck lid- that is not through but will need to be taken care of. Its all original except 1 repaint about 20+ years ago and still shines and looks good even still has the original exhaust. Since purchasing from my friend I have rebuilt the carb, put on a new fuel pump, replaced the master cylinder and bled the brakes, tuned up and 4 new tires. Everything works as it should except the fuel gauge and the AC needs charged. Car runs and drives really good. If you're looking for an original GT convertible this is the one. Hasn't had the piss ran out of it and is extremely solid.
Its suppose to have a black vinyl strip down the middle of the hood- I have one in the trunk but I'm not sure if its any good.
