Vehicle Details1965 Mustang coupe. 289 cruise-o-matic automatic transmission. Low reserve auction. Engine and transmission completely rebuilt and barely broke in. This car has matching numbers except for one head. Garage kept I have owned the car for 13 years. Weekend driver but planned nonop this last year. Car drives perfectly straight down the road. I’ve been around the car with a magnet and find no areas of bondo. No accidents. Polished Holly double barrel carb. All engine components are near new. No need for oil or any tuneups. Adjustable rear air shocks with new front shocks and coils, 3” exhaust with some loud exhaust mufflers not sure the brand possible ultra flow. Out of the muffler is 2 and 3/4 pipes out the back. Before it had turndowns so bringing the exhaust to the back quieted the sound but it still sounds mean. Black interior with the bowling alley center console. Steering colum gone through and steers nicely. Fuel gauge works but the temp guage doesn’t. Car does need a paint job and some body work at some point in the future see pictures. Heater is installed but the hoses were cut due to a drip in the heater box under the dash. American racing rims with newer Yokohama tires. Vinal top is in good condition. front disc brakes with brake booster. Alpine cd player w Bluetooth and pioneer 6x9 in the back. This would be a fantastic car for someone with auto body connections. I’ve been told by enthusiasts not to sell it. Its a good solid California mustang. This car is very reliable and quick off the line with smooth shifting. I spilled a bit of white paint in the trunk see pics. I’m selling due to other interests. It’s time for a good new home and with a good paint job this car will be ready for some great times to come and value added. it’s a head turner for sure. Please contact me for any questions.
