My background: I have an Associates degree from Ferris State University in automotive service and a Bachelors degree in automotive and heavy equipment management. I'm a Michigan State certified mechanic. I have 34 years experience in automotive sales, repair and restoring muscle cars and classics.
I have a 1989 FORD MUSTANG 5.0L LX with a NEW 2011 5.0L GT COYOTE SWAPPED ENGINE (WITH WARRANTY) for sale. This Mustang has 75 miles on it and counting. 3 year--36,000 mile "FACTORY WARRANTY" on the engine. The engine is a 5.0L (GT) (COYOTE) with a (2004 NOS--3650) 5-SPEED TREMEC (FORD) transmission and a 410 POSI rear end. New HOOKER705013143RHKR BLACKHEART EXHAUST SYSTEM 3" STAINLESS WITH "X" PIPE--SOUNDS AWESOME!!Coil over shocks-adjustable front and rear, sway bars front and rear, new u-joints, alignment, aluminum radiator (2) electric fans and frame connectors. Under the hood has been shaved and cleaned up beautifully. All unneeded holes in the firewall have been welded shut and body worked. The hood is a new cowl hood freshly painted as well as firewall and everything else under the hood! New DIGITAL DAKOTA DASH. EVERYTHING MECHANICALLY IS BRAND NEW WITH ALL RECEIPTS AND WORKING LIKE IT SHOULD!! Has power locks, power windows, rear defrost and COLD a/c!! This MUSTANG runs, shifts, drives and stops better than it was new. It is a bullet!! Very, Very FAST and RELIABLE!! Interior is in excellent-LIKE NEW condition. Exterior is in excellent rust free shape!!! The paint shines nicely.
IT WAS VERY VERY EXPENSIVE TO BUILD THIS CAR!! IT WAS BUILT WITH ALL NEW PARTS WITH EVERY PART INSTALLED PROFESSIONALLY..!! --RUST FREE--NEVER RUSTED!!
BACK STORY ON THE CAR:
In the early 1990's the car was in an accident. The insurance company deemed it to be to expensive to fix it. The car was then sold (by the insurance company) to someone whom had it fixed, then inspected by the state of Michigan, deemed road legal again to register and drive and a new title was then ("rebuilt") issued!! I bought the mustang from a local used car dealer who was in the area for over 30 years. This car was in his private collection. He recently passed away and the family sold me the car. This is my personal car. I'm also a dealer but the car is in my personal name. I planned on keeping the car but years with covid, supply chain issues, crazy fuel prices, low inventory with crazy used car prices, computer chip issues for the new dealers, interest rates, economy my business has taken a huge hit. The cost of this build was crazy expensive and took nearly 2 years to complete. It is time to sell and recoup my money on this one. I have partnered up with a buddy of mine and we are building my 1990 mustang lx the same way only this other one will have a Roush Racing Super Charger! We are 6 months deep into that restoration with a huge pile of money coming out of me already for that one too.

HE GREW UP BUILDING THESE CARS. I HAVE WATCHED HIM BUILD AT LEAST A DOZEN OF THESE OVER THE LAST 5 YEARS OR SO. HE BUILT A 1988 THUNDERBIRD-COYOTE SWAP THAT IS AWESOME WITH A TREMEC 6-SPEED. HIS CAR WINS CAR SHOWS ALL THE TIME AND IT HAS BEEN IN MAGAZINES AND ON CALANDERS. HE AND HIS THUNDERBIRD WERE INVITED TO THE DETROIT AUTORAMA RECENTLY. HE IS THE ONE THAT BUILT THIS CAR FOR ME AND WILL BE INVOLVED WITH MY SUPERCHARGED COYOTE SWAP WITH MY OTHER 1990 MUSTANG LX.
