Description:

1969 Ford F-100

I finished this truck in July 2018 and have drove it about 7000 miles (weekend stuff) and it has never giving any sort of problem. It starts right up every time and is very quick and powerful.
The good:It is a true short bed Ranger.Absolutely no rust holes. Only surface patina here and there.Has had a bumper to bumper mechanical restoration...Engine rebuilt and converted from 360 to 390 with RV cam (receipts provided)C6 trans rebuilt (receipt provided)NO leaks anywhere.New front springs, rear springs, Monroe shocks, king pins, tie rod ends, front end bushings, u-joints, redhead steering gear box, brakes.Front brakes changed from drum to disc. with all new brake lines, master cylinder, booster. The 9 inch ford rear end was flushed and filled and has new axle bearings and seals.Entire fuel system replaced with brand new tank and lines.New seat cover, carpet, door panels and headliner.New wheels and tires. OEM Fomoco ford hubcaps.Mostly original paint as far as I know. I have touched up below the gas cap and a small place on the cowl.Everything works. It is a good dependable truck.I have the original dealer installed under dash AC with brackets, compressor etc if wanted. (compressor spins freely)
The bad:Manual steering.2 cracks in dash pad.Windshield is cracked from top down about 10 inches. Comes down right behind rear view mirror.
History:Truck has spent its entire life in central Texas until I bought it in 2018 and moved it to East Texas. I am 3rd owner. First owner bought truck at a dealership in Ft Worth and owned it until 1999. 2nd owner told me he bought it for his son in 1999 but the engine was bad so they had it rebuilt and he drove it until 2003 with zero problems. His son then bought a new truck and the Ranger was parked in a shed from 2003 until February 2018 when I bought it. (Still has the 2003 inspection sticker)
