Fox Body
Desirable color combination - Black w/ gray interior
This car is a blast from the past... It’s not smart, it doesn’t have traction control, it has a clutch and gears, and the exhaust sound is classic.
I’ve had this car for approximately 9years. I've put ~ 1k miles on it per year and basically have kept up with maintenance and resisted the urge to make it faster... Car is in real good condition and that being said, is no way perfect. This car is mostly original with 35years of experience…????
This car can be driven stock as is or can be used as a perfect platform to build from with no surprises.
Car has the rightBolt-ons:
MAF converted
3:55 gears
BBK Headers
Flowmaster exhaust
Short throw shifter
Lowered on B springs
Subframe connectors
Heavy duty clutch
Aluminum drive shaft
Cold air intake
I have factory radio, headers, intake that came off the car.
I also have a cobra upper/lower intake that were never installed on car. For me, I just wanted to keep it stock as much as possible. Down to the shifter knob.
I have replaced the majority of the tune-up type parts, hoses, items that typically fail, and the parts that wear on these cars. I would always buy/install the Ford OEM if available. If not, I would buy the part upgrade. I also have the parts removed as well.

If I were going to keep the car, the next thing I would do is to upgrade the brakes. Car still has stock setup with rear drums which leaves a lot of braking to be desired… Again, wanted to leave this option open for the next owner to upgrade or keep stock.
The headlights are stock in the car and old technologycompared to the cars today. I have an LED setup but never installed to keep it stock.
With the 3:55 gears, the car does 75mph on the highway no problem.
I replaced the water pump about 5years ago and replaced the original radiator with an aluminum Mishimoto setup. This can be setup for electric fans but currently runs the stock fan clutch.
Car has slight oil leak at the common oil pan drain plug / upper gasket. After sitting in the garage for 6months this winter, there was a grapefruit sized oil stain on the concrete floor. The small oil leak never became a priority for me because to replace the oil pan you basically need to lift the motor.
Car exterior is in good overall shape and is in no way perfect. Paint has miscellaneous scratches, hood chips from the road spray, rear bumper trim paint is starting to delaminate, paint is faded along hatch column, front bumper was resprayed. No dents or dings or major blemishes.
Car interior is clean in good overall shape as well but in no way perfect. There are a couple of stains on the carpet, driver seat has a small hole, driver door upholstery has a small blemish, the ebrake tray has a scratch. The fabric on the sun visors is worn and has been reglued. I have new visors but never installed because they don’t make aftermarket with lights. Due to the fabric sagging, I have unplugged the visors to make sure the battery doesn’t drain.
Stereo is a Sony (XAV-AX1000) double-din setup with Bluetooth/Car Play/hands free mic that was able to be installed without any trans tunnel mods. Speakers are JBL/kicker mix but the system would definitely benefit from an amplifier. Still have factory tape deck.
Car had a kill switch installed at the “fog light” button (no fog lights on LX). The kill switch and wiring has been removed but fog light button is still in place but doesn’t operate anything.
Gas gauge reads ~ 1/4 tank above the Full line. I tried two fuel sending units with the same result.
Window tinting has a nick on the passenger widow and rear hatch.
I am trying to represent this car as honestly as possible and think the next owner will be happy with the condition of car.
Please let me know if you have any questions or would like any more information. Thank you!
