1956 Ford F-Series Wheat Truck
Vehicle Details1956 Ford Wheat Truck F600. Really great shape for its age. Runs like a top. I believe it’s the 272 Y block but may be the 292 as well. The motor has been rebuilt at some point as there is a tag on the lower part of the block. At cold start up the truck holds 55 pounds of oil pressure at work up holds 40-45 all day. It’s been converted to an alternator. Truck starts right up, idles great. 2 speed transmission works like it should and clutch is good and strong. The hoist all works like it should as does the emergency brake. The regular brakes also work good. The truck has been repainted at some point. It does have some rust that is poking through on the passenger door. The drivers door looks to have a bit of putty that has cracked at the bottom. Some rust under the drivers floor as shown in the pics. No other rust has been found. Windshield has a few chips and one chip has just started to crack. The bed is metal and made by trade wind and comes with the wood bed extensions. The front tires need replaced but hold air, rear have cracked as well and will need some replacement soon. Lights work, turn signals are not currently working, wipers work, heater works. AC wellllll, the windows roll up and down nicely. Gauges work. Has a dual fuel tank as well. I have driven this truck down the road and it drives fine. A little different than todays trucks. $500 payment within 24 hours and balance by bank to bank wire transfer.
