Ford Coupe Super Deluxe Restomod. 302 C4 Automatic with Gear vendors Overdrive unit. Power steering, Power front disc, rear drum brakes. All new suspension front and rear. Front ford axle all new king pins bushings, spindle bearings brake calipers all new. Front and rear shocks all Bilstein chrome. Running gear all donated from a 1968 mustang. The 302 completely rebuilt, and the C4 all updated. The gear vendors overdrive installed in June 2022. Rear 8" ford 2:89 gear in the rear completely updated, bearing and seals with brakes. New custom built drive line. New exhaust from engine back, which includes manifolds! New Vintique 15x7 painted wheels with new stainless trim rings and caps, with new June 2022 whitewall radials that have zero wear on them. (235-75-15) Wiring completely done 2021. Under the hood all new everything pictured this year, cooling system, hoses belts, mounts, connectors. Distributor, carburetor ignition wires. All new 2022. Body was stripped down from a very nice black paint job that had issues beginning June 2022 and clear coated on July 6th, There is no bondo on this car! The body work shown on the left driver side is weld and lead body work from the 1950's. When I stripped the car I was actually amazed on how nice the coupe looked. The interior has been updated with all sound and heat proof insulation, Carpet and all is as good as new. I have the original stock seats, that are upholstered with matching fabric as the interior, that also go with the car. I chose to install the very nice (2005) Tahoe seating for comfort and safety for travelling. We also made that choice for our grand children, All lighting inside and out is new. The interior has blue accent LED's. The exterior rear and the front USA trucklite headlights are LED. The heating/cooling in Vintage Air. Sanden compressor USA is the biggest you can buy. The system worked flawless the entire trip. We had temps low as 38 degrees and high as 98 degrees. The car can run all day in the Texas heat with ac on, and runs 185 degrees!! We typically see no street rods or restomods ever when we're out in the heat. This car will need nothing to travel anywhere. We just completed a roundtrip to the West Coast for a family wedding in the coupe and averaged 17.2 to 20.98 mpg. The car drives perfect with no issues. Steering, braking exhaust all work as they should. There is a ton of stuff to mention from window glass kits, anti rattlers installed etc... but can't go on and on. If you don't like people to approach you when ever you're driving or stopped getting gas, then this isn't the car for you. I built this car to drive across country and for people to see and enjoy. We even got free camping when they saw us roll in. The bare metal finish is so attractive.
