Very Custom '46 Ford Convertible. Lowered windshield 3.5" removed wing windows and rear quarter windows. Custom built (manual) convertible top completely finished headliner. Custom leather interior, including door panels. Electric custom glass power windows (tinted)Custom 2 piece front windshield tinted. Insulated and completed carpeted interior, along with finished trunk area.
Relocated battery compartment in the rear. Custom built dash panel with all gauges GPS speedo, Vintage Air Gen 2 controller, Vintage air custom air outlets billet aluminum, custom billet cup holders, AM/FM stereo CD player w/USB etc. Air-Heat all brand new and works exceptional.Power seats, custom tilt steering with leather wrapped. Everything works as it should.
Under the hood is a SBC 350 with the best custom intake, valve covers and stainless headers you can buy. The Edlebrock AVS carb is new, and runs like new. Transmission TH350 is completely updated and shifts perfectly. Drivetrain has approx. 18,500 miles with zero leaks or issues.
Mustang II frontend in excellent condition, new bushings and Bilstein shocks. Custom driveline with spicer joints also perfect.Exhaust is fitting for the car and also like new. Sounds great. The drivetrain comes from a 1969 Camaro. Custom whitewall tires are in excellent condition and have approximately 90% life left. Cooling system is fan driven top of the line Walker radiator and runs 180 degrees period, with ac on. All coolant, oils and misc on this car are like or new!
The car drives excellent and can be driven at any speed. No vibrations or noises, what you should expect for the money. 2 weeks ago went to the Austin County Cruisers car show and took home top 20 trophy. Car is definitely a crowd pleaser and very hard to find this clean. The build and paint are approximately 24 years old!! It is a 2 footer. I pictured some of the misc, bubbles that haven't changed and really aren't a problem. There is zero clearcoat issues, and this paint is a 9-10. The top has minor tear on at the pictured location, but now leaks. I was going to order the top sealant kit to fix it if I end up keeping it.
I'm probably missing tons of more information, but yo get the point. This car can be taken anywhere right now, the Lonestar Round Up is coming up in Austin next month and it would be a standout car there.
