1989 Ford F-150

This is my personal truck. I purchased it 2017 and have kept it well maintained and under a carport. My usage in 2017 was a 30 minute commute to and from work and in 2019 used it solely for items that I could not fit in a car and to pick up storage shed contents on occasion. I have done some work to this truck and have done a lot of maintenance to the top part of the engine down to cleaning and rebuilding the fuel injectors. This engine runs and I have previously performed compression checks and all cylinders were in range. I do this check on all engines before I buy one. The oil has been changed regularly or yearly, as I do not put many miles on the truck. There is practically no rust. The only rust was in the bottom of the bed. I did a bit of grinding and semi-repaired it with some fiberglass just to cover the holes, not to be pretty. I wanted the truck to be 1 color and I may have done some people wrong by removing the original patina but I wanted it black. The original color was red. I have a little bit of knowledge in painting and did an okay job. It isn't perfect but well above and beyond a paint can. I used a 150psi 33 gallon air compressor and gravity spray gun. Primer coat and 3 layers of satin black, but no clear coat. I did not spray the door jams or inside. One day I was way out in the boonies and the ignition key was to worn to turn the truck over so I had to pop the top off the ignition and get in there with a screwdriver and hot wire it (the steering column was not damaged, just the ignition). I since wired it to be a push button start. But this can be easily fixed just never had the need, works fine for me. The door lock key tumblers will need replaced or rekeyed. I do not have the door key. This will make a great restoration truck for someone. There is very little body work only some glazing compound in a few small areas. I did not repair some of the minor dents and left them as is... refer to the pics. No fluids are leaking except for a power steering hose which can be easily replaced. This is a 2 gas tank truck but 1 of them have been bypassed, this can be put back but I believe some plumbing work will need done and a fuel pump (the 1 tank works fine just the way it is, I do think the sending unit is off so it will need to be checked out). The clutch is slipping a little bit, mainly in 1st and reverse but just like the rest of the small issues it is not so bad that it needs replaced yet. The rear bumper sits a little low on the drivers side and will need to be straightened. The tires will need to be replaced.I believe that is all I can think of and will update this listing if there is anything to add and I will respond to any questions you may have.
This is a legitimate working, driving and good-looking truck. A perfect restoration truck. Little to no rust and no large body work. Original engine and transmission.
The mileage is unknown, it rolled over and after that who knows. This odometer only goes to 99,999 then rolls over. It is currently at 40980 I am not certain what the actual mileage is.
I have a reserve on this truck which is less than the baseline price listed on several websites on the internet.
This is a cash only deal. No checks or money orders.
