Description:

1969 Ford F-250

This is a 1969 FORD F-250, Crew Cab, short bed, 2WD. It is an old Government truck which was built in Ontario Canada in August 1969. Currently the truck runs and drives but it has no brakes. I believe it is virtually all original with the exceptions that I do not think the rear seat is the original seat, it is missing the original steering column, and the bed. The door tag matches the chassis, the engine and tranny appear to be original, and so does the rear axle. The manufacturer specs are as follows

> Built in Ontario Canada in August of 1969

> Engine - 240 CID, 6 cyl, 150 hp, 9.2:1 comp, 1-bbl carb

> 149” wheel Base

> 4 Speed Syn. Warner T-18

> Locking 4:10 DANA 60 rear axle

> No color code

> It was ordered by a government agency

THIS TRUCK HAS RUST. I did the best I could to represent the extent of the rust on this truck in the photos. Included in the purchase is a very clean parts truck, Black 1967 standard cab, roller(no engine or transmission) with a ford 9”, donor truck has a title, I also have a rust free hood, passenger side fender and a pretty rough tailgate. The Crew Cab has a California title in my name.

The Crew Cab is a Project Truck. It currently has NO functioning brakes and will need to be towed/trailered/transported. It can be driven on and off a trailer, but care will need to be taken when doing this, because it has no working brakes. Test drives are not possible except in my driveway. Clutch feels good and all the gears work. I have bypassed all the stock electrical to get it running, it is not using the ignition switch. Engine runs well, no smoke or knocks, carb works but will likely need a rebuild, and one engine mount looks shot. I think all of the electrical will need to be replaced, the driver's door does not stay latched. The rear cab glass is missing but all the doors have glass and working window mechanisms and glass. Again, this is a project truck that needs a bunch of TLC.I will help get the truck truck loaded however possible at its current location but will not set up any transportation. I can also provide more pictures if needed. Feel free to contact me with any further questions. This truck has a TON of potential. Good Luck!
