1961 Ford 1/2 Ton Pickup

1961 Ford Econoline custom off road rock crawler project. This vehicle does NOT run.
The chassis is full custom using 2x3 tubing that is married to the factory frame and all suspension and drivetrain is fixed to the new frame. All suspension and drivetrain mounts spring perches etc are finished and fully welded.
Drivetrain: 1996 Ford F-150 5.0 liter v8 4L60E automatic transmission BW4406 transfer case. Comes with complete factory wiring harness including cpu fuse block and accessories.
Front suspension: late 70’s Ford F-150 Dana 44 with custom long travel radius arms. Set up for coil over or triple bypass style shocks King Fox or whatever you choose.
Steering: late 70’s F-150 power steering box the track bar and drag link are only in mock up and need to be properly fabricated.
Rear suspension: late 70’s Ford 9” 31 spline truck axle. Differential gears are locked with a spool. Custom leaf springs. Shock mounts need to be fabricated.
Brakes: complete brake system needs to be engineered fabricated and installed.
Fuel tank and system needs to be built and installed.
Body is pretty good very minimal rust. Bed is super solid. Tailgate is not pretty but is there. Wheel wells are mediocre but easily could be redone properly with relative ease. The factory engine cover (doghouse) will not work. The 5.0 is larger and taller. The “roll bar” is only a hoop and is not welded it mounted.
Dash: the speedometer is an early Bronco unit.
This is a great start to a hardcore off-road rig. Most of the hard work has been done. Truck is set up to run 40” tires with ease. Finish it to your liking.
Shipping: buyer is responsible for shipping. After purchase we can discuss shipping options.
