1949 Ford Thames Panel Street Rod, E83W ½ Ton 12 VN, BritishBuilt Ford, A RARE and UNIQUE PROJECT. Full Ford powertrain 302 V8, C4 Automatic and Ford 8” rearend with 2.73 open diff. All STEEL BODY, this is an older hot rod conversion. New Elderbrock Aluminum intake and Holley 4150 4barrel carburetor and freshly tuned with wires, plugs, coil and oil and filter. Front wheels are Weld Racing 15x6 with 185R15 Radials, Rear wheels are 15x15Centerline Convo Pros with 29 x 15 Mickey Thompson SR Radials. 15 gallon fuel cell with gauge. Tachometer and gauges, no speedometer. Mustang II front end with power brakes, disc front, drum rear, power windows, heater, no air conditioning and no seat belts. This panel runs and drives but needs some TLC to really be streetable. Engine doesn't smoke, trans leaks a little fluid when sitting. There is a kink in the steering system, the rag joint needs replacing, steering needs updating.The V8 motor sits back in the cabin which makes this a left foot only braking vehicle. This is a project that needs someone with the time, money, space and skills to improve on the original hot rod conversion.
