1971 Ford Maverick Grabber

This is a lifetime California car that now resides in Florida. It is an original V8 Grabber model that has been converted to a straight axle Gasser.! It has a very powerful 383 Stroker Chevrolet engine and Turbo 350 transmission. It is currently licensed and insured. The front end is a Speedway straight axle with disc brakes. It has Centerline wheels. Ford posi rear. The car is currently wrapped with the Mooneyes graphics added. The engine was extremely well-built by the previous owner and has a significant cam, headers, and the tunnel ram with dual quad Holley’s. It starts immediately with a bump of the key. It runs very well and has intense power. There is a 12 gallon fuel cell and the battery has been relocated to the trunk. I was told the body was rust free prior to the wrap which was done several years ago and there is no evidence of any body rust or rust underneath. Please see pictures and video here:

Ask any questions before bidding. This not a car for an inexperienced driver! The lights and brake lights work, but the turn signals are not set up and there are no wipers currently. I have driven it locally but not out on a highway. It has new front tires and alignment. The rear tires are older but seem to be okay. There are some splits in the vinyl of the top of the back seat. The car is located near Tampa FL and I will assist with pick up but shipping is the buyer’s responsibility. I require a $500 deposit within 24 hours of auction end. Payment only accepted by bank wire or cash in person. The car will not be released until the funds are verified. Clean Florida title in my name.
