1954 Ford Pickup F-250 Vintage Original Truck

If you're looking for an original piece of Ford truck history, this is a great example. Purchased new by a rancher in Northern California, it has been passed down thru three generations. Now up for sale as the Great Grandson has chosen a military career and cannot take it along on relocations/deployments. He would rather see it go to a good home.It is currently registered & insured. Runs/drives as one would expect of a 70 year old truck. Good brakes, functional parking brake, lights and windows. Video shows the 6 cyl engine running, some blowby can be observed but exhaust is clear. The drivetrain has been serviced and repaired as needed recently (brakes/bearings/lube) Tires are biased ply of original spec., very good tread. Recently replaced fuel tank. The bed has new hardwood flooring. Seat and headliner redone. All of the glass is in good condition, some lightly crazed edges but no broken panes. The exterior sheetmetal is very good. Spending it's life in the California valley, this truck has never seen salt. The only significant rust is in the lower rear driver corner of the cab (see photo, not rusted thru). Floorpans are good, as are the doors. Additional pics available on request.The truck has some very unique vintage accessories from the time period; An all metal cap or topper from Atlas Mfg, then of West Sacramento, CA & a hydraulic over electric trailer brake controller (not currently functional)The pictures will show some detail pieces that are missing or broken, but overall this truck needs very little to be a true original classic, or a great piece to start your street rod/hot rod project from.>an OEM Ford shop manual is included wit this truck.
