RELISTED FOR NON PAYMENT SALE. RARE 1947 Ford Panel Truck with barn doors and a classic JAIL HOUSE GRILLE. Exterior is light blue with off white trim. Has a rebuilt 1950 Mercury V8 255cid /110 hp with 3 speed manual transmission. Original California truck with MINOR surface rust. Panel said to have been refurbished and had undergone a masterful and complete restoration in 1997 ( that still looks great today ) and has just received a fresh new custom gas tank, fuel lines and fuel pump, Oil filter and new oil was done for this auction. Also, new battery. Ignition Key only! Passenger and Barn doors locks need keys. Plexiglass rear windows has one crack. Steering wheel horn does not work. There is a missing high beam indicator light on dash, but High and Low beams work great. Starter pedal on floor is still there, but has been deactivated for the 12 volt system. Lower door seals on all doors. No rattles. NEW COKER WHITE WALLS RADIAL TIRES P225 / 75 R /15 mounted on steel rims. Dog-dish hub caps with the FORD LOGO and beauty rings that make this ride like a dream for a 75 year old Panel. Master cylinder, starter, brakes have been gone though as well. A few upgrades were added for safety, 12 -volt conversion for easy starting that starts every time, Seat belts, 6 way adjustable captain chairs. 27K miles on odometer. Runs strong and sounds great too! Does not smoke or drip oil. Chrome bumper's set the tone off with this true classic. Has dual stainless steel exhaust. CLEAN California title in my name. Old plates go with sale. Panel has been garage kept since my ownership. Everything is in good working order. All gauges work, gas, temp, oil gauge, amps, turn signals, all lights work as they should.
