1994 Ford F-150 XLT

This listing is for my 1994 F150 XLT truck. Single cab, short bed, really nicely optioned, with just under 43,000 miles (documented history) on the odometer. I am the third owner of this vehicle. This truck was sold new at Fremont Ford in Fremont, CA, and has lived in Grants Pass, Oregon (hasn't ever really even left town actually) since 2003. I have a small collection of these Ford trucks and have been driving and working on them (8th & 9th generation F series specifically) for a long time. I try to drive this truck 10-20 miles a week around town to stay aware of any issues that may present and keep everything functioning correctly. Since summer of 2021 I have put around 900 miles on it.

Everything works properly on this truck. There are no shakes, rattles, clunks, etc. All systems and controls are in factory/unmodified condition and function correctly. No trouble codes or service lights. Needs nothing. This truck drives down the road straight and confidently, with no wandering or pulling. The braking is prompt and firm, again with no pulling, shimmying, or any kind of wandering. The brakes were done about 900 miles ago. The cruise control, air conditioning, locks, instruments, lights all function 100%. Dual switching fuel tanks and gauge all operate correctly. The leather wrapped XLT steering wheel is mint. I keep it covered up so it stays that way. There are no cracks in the dash. There are some minor interior flaws consistent with age and use, nothing that detracts from overall appearance, comfort, or function. Everything pictured. The folding armrest, courtesy lights, and dual power lumbar air supports all function correctly. The optional OEM cup holder console is just right. Truck is very comfortable and really a joy to drive. Thumbs up or waves from folks every time.

The engine is a gas 300ci I-6 and the transmission is an E4OD. This truck is rear wheel drive. This is an 8.8" rear axle with 3.08:1 gears. It has great torque and accelerates quickly. No leaks. This truck has a tow hitch and trailer brake, the previous owner used to tow a utility trailer for dump runs.

The exterior has mostly original paint that is definitely developing a great "young" patina. I had originally intended to perform a full paint correction on this truck (I will include the the correct paint with the truck) but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. As the saying goes "they're only original once", and this paint along with its flaws really does just have so much original character. There are nicks and chips in the paint, there are some scratches and really minor dents, but overall it's just real honest paint that shows like its proud of its flaws.In addition to the great options here, this particular paint (code WA, Ultra Red, single stage) was also a one year only color, which really adds to this truck's overall uniqueness. All of the impossible-to-find color matched body molding strips are intact and in good condition. In the engine bay against the firewall you will notice an additional factory option buck tag. At some point in the distant past the top side of the hood was repainted and cleared. It matches really well. No rust or other body repairs. All glass is OEM Ford oval glass. There is a small chip in the center of the windshield about 1/3 of the way down. Not really in the field of view. It's a little smaller than a pencil eraser size and doesn't have other cracks protruding from it. There is a crack in the black tail panel strip. It's in the center but hard to see unless the light is reflecting just right. You can see it clearly there in the second photo of the tailgate.

The 5 bar aluminum plate bed kit I think really speaks for itself. These are around two thousand new, I modified and installed this one that was originally on a long bed I had in the past. The floor is 5/8" horse stall mat. All of the fasteners are stainless steel. This is really an indestructible accessory that looks great and provides lots of utility. I also have a set of DeeZee diamond plate side steps that could also go with this truck if the new owner wanted them. Just ask. They have new hardware and are already fitted up to be installed, I've just been a little undecided about it.

This truck was originally optioned with steel wheels. I upgraded them to the optional OEM Ford/Alcoa wheels shown. The Cooper Discoverer A/T tires (Made in USA!) are brand new. I put them on about 400 miles ago, date coded 3821. Other recent maintenance items include battery (date code 12/22), fuel filter, ignition components (plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor), clockspring, door striker bushings, door handle seals, and front brakes.

I welcome all in person inspections or test ride prior to bidding, just contact me. This truck has a clean Oregon title and current valid registration and tags that are transferable to the new owner. I have a good amount of maintenance records and most of the past registration cards dating back to 2001 but not origin docs or a comprehensive documented history.

I understand some buyers might need the vehicle shipped to them. I am flexible and happy to work with your shipper to get this vehicle safely on its way to you. I am not willing to conduct transport research, pricing, or time scheduling on buyer's behalf, or participate in any kind of escrow agreement for payment. I recommend getting several bids, as prices and transport times can really vary widely from one carrier to another. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due upon purchase via ebay payments. If buyer will be picking the vehicle up in person, final payment is due in cash. If vehicle is to be shipped; a bank wire is acceptable provided payment has fully cleared before transport arrives. Unless prior arrangements have been made, final payment and pickup is to be made within 7 calendar days of auction end.
