Selling my 1936 Ford Convertible Sedan. I purchased this without a engine. We had a older rebuilt (not by us) 1936 Engine. We pulled it apart, inspected, new rings, lapped valves and rebuilt the oil pump. Test ran on a engine stand with great pressure and temperatures. The engine is .080". We installed NOS Aluminum heads, NEW Powermaster 12V powergen, New $600 carpenter carburetor, Rebuilt 11A distributor, NEW ceramic water pump, new hoses, new Clutch.
It is sitting on a perfect 1939 Chassis, with hydraulic brakes, 1939 Trans, and a good running rear with what I think is 3.54 gears. It cruises 65mph plus with ease.
It currently has a electric fan and is running off a electric fuel pump. Drives super smooth! Has NEW dual exhaust and NOS fenton headers.
The body is rust free and Solid Decent Lebaron Bonney Seat upholstery.
The top is complete and operates but has a couple small tears that could easily be repaired.All the window regulators work. All the lights work. It is wired for turn signals worked but the switch burned up so we cut the wires going to it.
The paint has lots of large scratches, and the RF fender has several dents and ripples. The hood tops have been louvered but it comes with a original hood as well.
The only thing it really needs it all the door latches need lubed and potentially new springs eventually. The windows needs adjusting, and needs the pillar and window weatherstrips.
A super sweet running family crusier that is not a show car but awesome to hop in and have fun. Runs VERY well (better than most any flathead Ive had)
