Vehicle Details1977 Ford F250 High Boy 4x4 with 73,850 original miles. I bought it about 10 years ago from the gentleman who purchased it new. This truck has the original 400 modified V8 with the original rebuilt C6 transmission and divorced transfer case. The truck was a special order heavy duty truck for snow plow use when purchased back in 1977. Heavy duty wide springs, heavy duty ford rear-end and brakes all original to the truck. The snow plow still works but the cylinder does leak some. The interior is rough but is the original right down to the radio and a vintage mounted CB radio. The body needs work and I would consider it fair for a 46 year old truck. The truck runs, drives and stops. It has primarily been used on the farm for the past 6 years. So don't think you are going to buy it and drive half way across the United States. I would strongly recommend trailer and a large one to accommodate snow plow and 38.5 Gumbo Monster Mudder tires. The 4x4 works fine the front lockers are free and some of the brake hardware is newer.The lift kit is homemade and was installed by the original owner back in the late 70's.
