This truck was my daily driver a few years back. I took the engine and trans out and freshened them up with new seals. The previous owner had claimed the engine was just rebuilt. I didn’t necessarily believe him but when I had the engine out I looked in the cylinders with borescope and it was extremely fresh. Under the valve covers showed the same. I resealed a few things and painted it up. The trans got similar treatment, new input and output seals, new clutch kit. There’s a little rust in the passenger side lower front door post as well as the beneath the gutters and around door frame as pictured.
In the last two weeks I repaired the rusted out cab floors and bed floor. New panels were welded in to the cab floors then seam sealer and por 15. Sound deadening and new carpet installed in the interior a long with a repaired and recovered bench seat. The cab corner was also replaced and topped with a little green paint.
The bed floor got the holes all cut out and replaced with steel, then a bed liner.
The brakes and suspension bushings all have about 5k miles on it.
