This is an amazingly solid survivor 1971 Ford Pinto from California. It has been sitting for many years and needs some TLC. The body is in great condition. It appears to be wearing its original paint. I tried buffing a little of it and it comes right up. There may be nicks, scrapes, scuffs dents, dings, and other imperfections. The car is dirty from sitting in storage. The rear bumper is bent but the car comes with a brand new bumper.
The interior is in decent shape for its age. There is a rip in the driver seat and the dash is cracked. The interior needs a thorough vacuuming and cleaning too.
The underside of the car is very solid. I tried to take the best photos I could without putting it on a lift.
The car is not currently running (I have never tried to put gas to it.). The engine cranks over easily (see video). The fuel tank seems to be leaking a little - not sure if it's hoses or something else. Probably makes sense to check the hoses first. The front wheel cylinders are frozen and need to be replaced. I removed the front drums to make the car easier to roll around (it does roll easily). The drums will come with the car.
