Its Time to Go! 1931 Deluxe Fordor (160C), my father's pride and joy. This is an early 1931 160-C with Murray Body as the car has a straight firewall and has body number 70. The 160-C is one of the rarest Model A passenger cars with only approximately 750 built!
My Father purchased the car in the early 90's. The car was in excellent shape, but not up to my father's high standards. The re-restoration took place in the mid 90's. After re-restoration this car has been shown across the country in the fine point class. It has won numerous awards over the years including the MAFCA Award of Excellence and the MARC of Excellence.
The colors of the car are Brewster Green and Black with an Apple Green Stripe. The interior color is Brown Mohair which was professionally done by Lebaron-Bonney using factory correct material. The Model A runs and drives excellent, idles perfect, starts easy and shifts nicely.
This car was a major part of their lives and introduced them to the world of Model A's.If you are a Model A person and in the New England area you probably know this car!
