I have had this truck for a little over 2 years, with plans of restoring it. My plans have changed unfortunately.It is a 1979 Ford F350 Supercab 4x4 Chassis Cab with a service bed.I was told that it spent most of its life as a service truck for a rural eastern Washington road district.The odometer shows 59,607 milesThe body has various dents and dings, but overall is in good shape. Rust is minimal, with a little surface rust on various scratches on the body. The service bed is in relativly good condition. All of the doors open and close good. No locks on the service bed though.The interior is in good shape for a 43 year old truck. It is clean, with a few misc interior pieces in need of replacing.The 4x4 works with no issues, and the transmission shifts are crisp, with no slipping.The engine fires right up and idles great. It has some older coolent lines, and various small leaks from various hoses, but nothing more than a seep. It could use new valve cover gaskets, but the person that buys this truck isnt gonna be the type of person that minds doing the little stuff.I wouldn't hesitate to drive this truck across the country as it sits.
