1991 Ford Bronco Silver Anniversary

1991 FORD BRONCO Special Edition Silver Anniversary model
Ford celebrated 25 years of production with this Silver Anniversary Edition Bronco for the 1991 model year.
As a cosmetic option package, the Silver Anniversary Edition featured an exclusive Currant red exterior paint combined with a gray / red accented leather interior sewn onto comfortable Captain chairs. Included in the package was a heavy duty, 22 ounce, quiet ride, plush red carpet throughout. The exterior consisted of red trimmed bumpers, red hardtop and Silver Anniversary sport badges displayed throughout the Bronco. The Silver Anniversary production was estimated at only 3,000 models produced for the 1991 anniversary year.
Up for sale is a rescued Silver Anniversary 4 Wheel Drive Bronco. Stored inside a garage for 9 years in Redding California,
a Cottonwood tree blew over damaging the structure of a friends home / garage while partially denting the roof of this Bronco that was stored inside. Luckily the hard top received no damage as well as no damage to the Bronco's roof integrity but unfortunately put some dents on the passenger side of roof. Overall the Bronco is a survivor but definitely has some scars from the incident as well as some years of use.

We purchased this Bronco with the intent to either restore as a Silver Anniversary Bronco or just keep it as a good running four wheel drive Bronco to build into something road worthy and unique. We have decided to pass on the opportunity of owning this piece of history, offering it to the next person to restore, preserve or simply enjoy as a normal running driving 4 wheel drive Bronco.
We have made a list over time of the things that could use attention:

- rear tailgate has some blems / body work / paint chipped on upper exterior of gate
- rear tailgate window motor is getting tired, at times you have to assist with a hand push to roll up the rear window
- spots of the window tints have some blemish / peeling
- missing rear speakers / grilles
- missing passenger rear armrest and ashtray
- rear passenger hard top window was cracked and is now a well fit plexi glass replacement
- windshield has a crack
- radio works but is intermittent
- heater and air conditioning both work but AC could possibly need recharge soon
- nicks n dings n scratches in various places throughout body
- valve cover gaskets leak from sitting
- transmission could use service, it works well once warm but slips when first driving cold
- fuel pump is intermittent (sometimes needs starting fluid when cold, starts fine when warm or with full tank)
- muffler has some small hole repairs and could be replaced
- seat foam is fairly nice and comfortable but the factory leather upholstery is older

This Bronco can go either direction as a restoration candidate keeping one of the Silver Anniversary's alive or just a cool, running,
fun driving, 4 wheel drive Bronco. It starts great when fuel pump is performing correctly, my plan / suggestion would be to install a new fuel pump. When 100% cold, first driving, the transmission you can feel slip, after warming up and driving down the road it then operates normal, my plan was to have a full service done on the transmission. The valve covers both leak, one more than the other from sitting in storage too long, my plan was to replace both valve cover gaskets.

Overall it is a pretty solid Bronco that drives straight and true down the road. The 4 wheel drive works great, the tires have good tread and balanced which roll nicely down the road. The brakes, power steering, electrical and lights are all fine, it just needs some TLC in those areas mentioned and a good home to appreciate and enjoy the Bronco.

please ask any questions and or request any pictures and I will do my best to provide.
if you have a feedback score of ( 5 ) or less please message me, identify your self, your state and your intentions on the Bronco please. eBay unfortunately has a horrible problem with scams and hacks and problematic bidding.
