This Phaeton was meticulessly restored professionally over 7 years ago.
The body had zero rust however the floors were replaced with NOS floor pans (purchased at Hershey) because moisture of the open car got trapped under the floor mat.
The body is Base coat/clear coat with New LeBaron Bonney real leather interior and Labaron Bonney canvas top.
Grill was rechromed and the Greyhound is perfect nos.
Every single detail has been meticulously addressed refurbished, rebuilt, or replaced.
The original Flathead 21 stud V8 purrs like a kitten through a new dual exhaust with stainless steel Ford script exhaust tips and runs flawlessly. The 3 speed transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears via the rechromed floor shift.
Brakes are all new mechanical and fully adjusted original Ford.
Smooth ride on 4 new wide white tires and rebuilt shocks and completely rebuilt front suspension and steering.
All the gages including the clock were restored and work flawlessly.The radio was modernized with new knobs and chrome faceplate. The odometer shows 70,000 miles and is correct.
New stainless steel bumpers front and rear.
The car is beautiful condition but the top could use a good cleaning to attain the perfect show condition.
This car comes with extra gages... new rear seat grab handle as well as other parts that were original to the car when first purchased 40 years ago.
