The car is powered by a modified 302ci V8 equipped with a Holley Demon four-barrel carburetor. Power goes to the wheels via a four-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes a Hurst shifter, electric fuel pump, MSD ignition components, front disc brakes, and 15″ Torque Thruster wheels.

A west coast car until at least 2009, the undercarriage is virtually rot free. Body panels fit excellent. Doors, hood and trunk close easily. This car lines up nice and is straight and true. The paint is older with some minor cracking in some places.A Boss hood scoop, front chin and rear deck spoilers, with the ‘Boss’ style graphics complete the Boss 302 look. The car has been repainted from its factory blue color.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Hurst shifter to a four-speed manual transmission. The clutch engages smoothly and the transmission shifts as new. This Mustang goes down the road great. Power from the modified 302 comes on early and is strong.

Equipped with disc brakes up front and drums in the rear, pedal and modulation are good, stops are sure and straight. From the paperwork that comes with the car, I have found that the front suspension has been lowered 2” in the front. She goes through the corners very nicely.

A comfortable interior features bucket front seats in black vinyl and matching rear seats. Most all of the interior, the carpet, headliner and other soft interior pieces, are in very good to excellent condition. Sail panels are a bit wavy.

Having run a few tanks of gas through the car, I have noticed: a small oil leak, the speedometer doesn’t work, there’s some play in the steering, and the tires are weather checked. There may be other defects not noticed.
