Description:

1979 Ford Mustang LX Notchback

LAST CHANCE!! "I Lowered the Price AGAIN to my FINAL BOTTOM LINE PRICE!" This is the lowest I can go. I'm practly giving it away! I WILL NOT GO ANY LOWER @ this piont! I was gonna do a COMPLETE Gen.3 Coyote swap drivetrain with a 10R80, but my plans have changed. This is a GREAT Deal for a 1st Year Notch! Kelly Blue Book value is MUCH, MUCH higher then listed. VERY Rare 1979 Mustang Notch Ghia. 100% Rust Free! (2nd Owner car) This is a 1st Year Fox-Body. 1979 Mustang Notch, Rarest lowest production Top Tier Ghia. FULLY Optioned out, "Premium Model Ghia" Mustang Notchback. ALL numbers match V8 Car. Has Very Rare options include: SOFT TOP, TRUNK WING, AUTO TRANS, POWER BRAKES, & A/C! Car runs STRONG & VERY WELL, and has a newer Edelbrock 550 CFM 4bbl. Carb. Runs a little bit on the rich side, but better to be rich then lean. Could use a slight carb. adjustment & a few degrees of timing advance IMO. Engine runs VERY well & STRONG. Engine & Transmission was freshened up according to previous, previous owner some years ago. I have the original OEM working Radio. It currently has an upgraded nice Bluetooth Stereo installed. Exact mileage unknown? Odometer reads exactly 54,442 miles. Very well could possibly be original miles? I'm not 100% sure? But I honestly believe it is. For a few different reasons: The over-all condition of the car, no rust, super clean underside, mostly original clear coat paint, Almost, virtually no wear on the drivers seat, passenger seat no wear at all! No rips, tears, or thread coming apart. Virtually zero color fade. Another indicator is, 99% OF THE TIME WHEN THE ODOMETER FLIPS MILAGE ABOVE + 99999 Miles, THE ODOMETER Numbers NEVER LINE UP EVENLY & PROPERLY. Also, If car had 154,442 miles, the seats & carpet would definitely show MUCH, MUCH more wear & tear. All these factors lead me to believe it actually is a 54,442 Original Mile Mustang Notch. Car does not leak any Engine Oil, Tranny Fluid, or Coolant. Engine Blows NO oil & Engine runs excellent, smooth, & quiet. Car goes down the road perfectly straight, steering wheel does not shake, makes no weird noises or vibrations @ all. Engine Runs Great & smooth. No ticks, knocks, or shaking. Tranny shifts CRISP and SOLID like it should. Overall, car is in VERY nice shape for its 44 years of age. I believe it has mostly original paint. Paint 7/10. Interior 9/10. Could use a set of front shocks which are a bit worn, but are very cheap to buy new. Also needs a NEW power steering pump (which leaks a little) (WHICH I ALSO HAVE NEW ONE (IN BOX, & GOES WT. THE CAR) And could use NEW rear brake Pads which I also have (BRAND NEW IN BOX) that goes with the car also. These are simple fixes. Come get this Rare, 100% Rust Free 1st year Mustang Notch! There are NOT many 1979 5.0 Notches left in this Original FINE Condition! This was ALSO, the lightest of ALL the V8 Mustangs Model Years! Curb Weight Only: 2530 lbs. NEVER Hit, Damaged, or in any accident.. Over & Underside is in EXCELLENT, RUST FREE Condition! Doors open & close easily WITH NO DROOP, OR SAG & line up perfectly. All body panels are perfectly and evenly spaced. EVEN Clear Coat is in excellent shape! No flaking, or fading. Thats almost never seen for a car of this age. On Most all of the early Model Mustangs, the clearcoat is usually flaking on the hood, roof, top of bumpers, fenders, & trunklid. All 4 Tires are Basically NEW, less than 1 YEAR OLD with only about 1,300 mies on them. THIS Mustang was obviously VERY well taken care of, and probably spent most of its life in a garage, or storage unit, most definitely with a concrete or asphalt floor and most definitely never seen snow or salty roads. "PLEASE NOTE:The "4 eyed" were produced from 1979 to 1986. When Ford changed the bumper to the new "Euro Style" most everyone wanted the new 2 light "Euro Style" Bumper. That being said, it was changed only for that reason. The origional owner of this car did the swap. Then his neighbor bought it in the late 90s & owned it untilI purchased it a few months ago. Car was NEVER in an accident. You can still find 4 eye bumpers as they are plentiful. I adjusted the price considering the swap, and priced the car accordingly considering the fact the bumper was up-dated. If it had the original front bumper & grill, this Mustang would sell for $22k+ all day long..I have been buying & selling Mustangs for MANY years. I am very knowledgeable & priced the car "as it sits" very fairly. VIN# 9F04F119054. I've had bought & sold MANY Mustangs in my 42 years of driving, I also have knowledge as working as a mechanic, & the auto repair industry as well. This Mustang is SUPER CLEAN for a 1979. I've had only 1 that was slightly cleaner. I'm very aware of what Mustangs sell for. I've been watching the prices & sales VERY closely for many years, but watching prices DAILY since 2016. I understand the market has cooled a bit since its April 2022 HIGHS, and I have adjusted the price accordingly in consideration the front clip was up-dated to the Euro style 2 light setup. This was a VERY common swap. Most everyone liked the Euro style better, and a LOT of people who owned a pre 87 Mustang "especially the early years" were up graded to the 2 headlight setup. I did consider this in the price & adjusted it accordingly. If it had the origional clip, it would be a $20+k Mustang all day long. This is a VERY fair price for this car as it sits, considering Year, Model & Condition. For ONLY $10k this is a GREAT DEAL. This would have sold in 1 day back in March-June 2022 for $12-14k or more. This is NOT a best offer sale. This is a BUY-NOW Price ONLY, & I will not take any less money for it with best offers. A NON REFUNDABLE $1,000 deposit is required to hold the car for purchase! This is an as is sale. What you see is what you get. Please don't buy THIS Mustang if you CAN'T afford it, or have to ask your Wife if it's ok. If you have any additional questions you can get in touch. TEXT: eight- space six space zero, space 628 space 1013. Thank You for Viewing!
