For sale is a 1929 Ford Model A custom with original Henry Ford ALL steel body in amazing condition, and a supercharged Big Block Chevrolet 454 with Holley EFI, a fresh 700R4 4 speed automatic transmission and 19” wide rear tires. This car has been professionally assembled with only the best parts by certified professionals. The car will come with over 150 photos of the build, and started life as an all original 1929 Model A with an original 1929 clear title. See below for further details on the build.
-Custom frame assembled with a custom shortened Ford 9” limited slip rear end, rear QA1 coil-over shocks with an adjustable panhard bar. The rear tires are "S/C 515" dot tires in size 515/45-15 (19” tread width, huge!). Stock style front leaf spring and drop axle. The front axle has been upgraded to accept late model shocks, and has GM style disc brakes, and a Vega steering box with steering stabilizer.
-Engine is a Chevrolet Big Block 454 with a 6-71 roots supercharger. The cooling system is made up of a stock style high flow water pump, into an aluminum two core radiator with high cfm electric fan so it can idle all day long without overheating. The fuel system is a BRAND NEW Holley Super Sniper dual 4-barrel self-learning Electronic Fuel Injection with in-car display. The car starts right up and idles perfectly no matter the temp, elevation etc. No pumping the gas on this one, starts and runs like a brand new vehicle. This is supported with a billet Holley EFI fuel pump and Holley filter/regulator, and run with black braided AN fuel lines from a racing fuel cell between the rear wheel tubs. The 6-71 blower is topped with a Weiand 2x4 blower plate, two HVH tapered carb spacers, above a custom machined billet 8 injector Water/Methanol injection plate system. The plate system is supported with a Snow Performance injection pump and gauge/control unit. The only porpose of a water methenol system is to slightly increase octane rating of any fuel, but mainly to cool the intake charge more than 60+ degrees as it moves through the supercharger. This plate system could also be used for nitrous if desired, though it's never been used for that. One of a kind custom fabricated headers that extend all 8 pipes uncut all the way back to side exit, 4 pipes on each side. It’s amazing.
-For transmission, it has a freshly rebuilt 700R4 4 speed automatic overdrive transmission with a trans fluid cooler. Works flawlessly with a professionally adjusted throttle valve cable. Cruises down the highway at 60 with less than 2k.
-The body is an all steel Henry Ford original body with original wood framing inside. The paint is mostly the original dark blue, with areas of natural patina all over the car. The coolest part of the exterior is a hand painted American Flag on the roof of the car that nearly takes up the entire roof. Throw a few great patriotic songs on the sound bar at a car show, and get ready for a lot of crisp salutes, handshakes and best in show votes. There is NO structural rust anywhere, only superficial corrosion allowed to exist for patina affect. The body could be EASILY scuffed and painted if that was your desired end product. Roof is all steel, no canvas. All new wiring harness, everything works flawlessly, with several circuits to spare for any added features you desire. All Lokar pedal and cable assemblies. The seats are brown distressed leather with adjustable sliding seat tracks, and frame mounted seat belts. It was built with interior room as a priority. I’m 6’1” 225lbs and there is more than enough room for me to get comfortable for long trips. Mounted in the rear is a Memphis Audio 28” model MXA46SB28 extreme power audio bar that can be controlled with an app on your phone. (8 speakers, Bluetooth, AM/FM/Weather, waterproof). Dash is made up of 11 Classic Instrument gauges to keep track of everything, as well as the Holley Sniper touch screen display mounted tastefully on top of the steering column which also displays all vital pressures and temps. All four side windows are new tinted glass with manual rolling handles for all 4. Rear window has matching tinted glass. Still sports its original headlights, grille, and flip out windshield with new glass.
