Vehicle Details1968 ford hardtop 390 has xl tags can’t find any galaxie tags is a fastback trunk is rusted out and 2 little holes in front seat and back all around sheet metal is solid quarters on rear are rustin, tranny needs to be rebuilt and motor was running beautiful car don’t want to sell was going to restore but fallen on some hard times so she’s gotta find a new home.black paint on front is rust inhibitor,if anything it is a xl and xls are rare and hard to find in 1968 there were less than 60,000 made .the person I bought it from said it was imported from Mexico on titles it just says 2 door hardtop can’t really find any info on the vin numbers cause there is only 8 or 9 numbers and being it’s from Mexico dmv of Mexico is pretty hard to work through car has a lot of potential and a god solid body and metal.will need new trunk pan and gas tank .and the both back bottom rear panels are rusting .only trunk area and bottom rears need to be worked on rain got in the trunk and rusted out alot of area.all in all rest of car has good hard steel .one more thing mexican title says falcon then other updated title says 2dr hardtop,all tags on car say 390 and xl so not certain I've seen galaxy fastbacks that have same lights .and out of all xls this is the smaller subframe fastback, other xls are a little more longer in front and in back .this frame is smaller looks like a 1970 monte carlo all the way around 2500 is starting bid and only going for 7 days all payments are only accepted through ebay thank you,any questions feel free to ask.
